This is an amazing book that I read recently.
The title is “HAUSFRAU”( 2015 ) by Jill Alexander Essbaum.
HAUSFRAU means “a housewife” in German.
In this story, an American woman who live in Pfäffikon, Switzerland.
She starts to go to lessons in a school to improve her German.
At first, she was a lonely housewife in a foreign country,
but gradually she took the opportunity to develop relationships in her life.
This work is a New York Times best seller,
I also enjoyed the wordplay and pun between English and German.
