I don’t feel I will graduate from uni in this March. Time flies really fast since I entered uni. There are so many memories of this four years at DWCLA. I am so lucky to meet wonderful friends, especially wakazemi members and teachers. I tried to challenge whatever I was interested in such as studying Japanese language teaching as a minor, English teacher training course, Shakespeare Production and so on. One of the most memorable experience was staying in Australia to work as a Japanese language assistant for a month in 2017. This experience changed me in many ways. I was even more interested in Japanese language teaching in Australia and was able to improve my English speaking skill greatly even though it was just for a month. Because of the experience there, I decided to work as a Japanese language assistant again in Australia after I graduate.
4年間の大学生活を振り返ると、同女で日本語教育に出会えたこと、オーストラリアで日本語教師アシスタントをしたこと、若ゼミにはいったことが一番大きかったなと思います。教職に加え、日本語教員養成課程もあり、たくさん授業を取りすぎて学期末にしんどすぎたことも今となっては良い思い出です。（教職もいれると卒業時におそらく取得単位は200を超えると思います。）また2年の終わりには初めての海外、オーストラリアに行って、そこでの経験で自分が何がしたいのか見えたような気がします。この経験がなかったら、卒業後またオーストラリアに1年行こうとも思わなかったと思います。4月から、新しい環境で、若ゼミで学んだこと、大学で学んだことを活かして頑張りたいです。
