As a second round of our seminar blog, we are going to talk about our heroes/heroines using some of our vocabulary this week. When I were asked this question, it would be very difficult to choose because there are so many heroes for me. That would be Steve Jobs if I dare to pick one, though. He was the CEO of Apple and the co-founder of it with Steve Wozniak. I did not feel any dignity in Steve, but just I felt friendliness and optimism in him. Since I started using a Mac, I realized how creative and interesting person he was. I cannot admire everything he did— if I did, it would be inappropriate—but my life would have been quite different if I had not met a Mac or Apple products; I could not have obtained tenure at college. Although Steve passed away six years ago, he still is my hero.
